Our Mission

The Northern Columbia Little League serves the children of northern Columbia County, New York who reside in the Ichabod Crane Central School District. NCLL offers baseball and softball programs for boys and girls. We seek, above all, to impart ideals of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority to the children of the community. It is our hope that players will learn through their participation in Little League Baseball values that will make them strong and happy children who grow up to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

The Northern Columbia Little League is accepting requests for both the Major League Baseball and Softball Managers for the 2015 spring season. The number of managers, one per team, has yet to be determined as it`s dependent on the number of players at that level. Anyone interested in becoming a manager should review the Northern Columbia Little League Rules and Regulations relating to Major Division Management, possess the ability to work with children of different abilities between the ages of 9-12, and exhibit and instill positive sportsmanship.  Managers are not only responsible for managing their team at games and practices, but also to ensure their assigned equipment is accounted for, the concession stand is staffed when needed, and schedule parents to assist on Opening Day.  Interested persons shall make their interest known in writing (email suffices) to the respective coordinator by December 28, 2014.   Any questions should be directed to Major Baseball Coordinator Scott Holzhauer (holzh@capital.net) or Major Softball Coordinator Brad Walsh ( bradwalsh1971@aol.com).
